M.J. Shoer, at 38 years of age, is a veteran in
the technology industry. As one of the first dozen
employees at the former Blue Fin Technologies,
M.J. handled everything from sales to running the
internal IT department. He was integrally involved
in the spin off company, Blue Fin Systems, an
internet service provider, which grew to 2,000
customers in just nine months before he helped
engineer its sale.
Jenaly, whose name is configured from his wife and
two of his children’s names, was a concept that he
had after leaving Blue Fin and was partially
modeled after companies similar to those he
employed when at his previous company. “It is easy
to find a company that builds and sells computer
systems but it is difficult to find one that
starts from the customer service end, integrates
the hardware and software needs and then includes
the management and monitoring of these systems. We
strive to match the appropriate highly skilled
Jenaly team member to a particular company so they
can in essence be part of their company and act as
their proactive technology resource.”
In
fact when the last SOBIG.F worm brought several
industries to their virtual knees, Jenaly
businesses came through unscathed. “Several

of M.J.’s favorite networking stories, he fondly
recalls a colleague who was racing his 40 foot
