Blackberry Service Issues
This alert is only for those of our clients who have users with Blackberry devices. If you do not have any Blackberry devices in use, you may ignore this alert.
Over the past several days, we have been monitoring Blackberry service issues that have mainly been isolated to Europe and the Middle East. Today, we can confirm that users of Blackberry devices in North America are now also impacted. Specifically, e-mail delivery to and from Blackberry devices may fail, be dramatically delayed or come and go in random batches. Please understand that these issues are related to the Blackberry service network maintained by Research In Motion. Your internal e-mail systems are not effected and are running fine. Once RIM resolves these issues, normal mail flow will return to your Blackberry devices. Until that time, you should not rely on your Blackberry devices for reliable and timely e-mail communication.
