Ricoh U.S. Executive Wayne Mize to Lead

Computing Technology Industry Association Board of Directors

Elected Chairman at Annual Breakaway Conference

Orlando, Fla., August 2, 2006 – An information technology (IT) veteran with more than two decades of industry experience will lead the board of directors of the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) in 2006-2007.

Wayne Mize, vice president, Netsourcing Business Center in the Document Solutions & Services Division of Ricoh U.S., West Caldwell, N.J., was elected chairman of the CompTIA board of directors at the association’s annual Breakaway conference, being held this week in Orlando. Breakaway is the IT industry’s premiere partnering event for business leaders, resellers, manufacturers, distributors, and solutions providers.

Mize succeeds Gary Gillam, vice president, North American Resellers Channel Operations, Xerox North America, as chairman of the CompTIA board. Gillam continues to serve as an ex-officio member of the board.

Mize joined Ricoh in 1983, and is currently responsible for both the company’s Technology Solutions Center and the Solutions Marketing Division. In the Technology Solutions Center, Mize oversees management of the Ricoh Service Support Programs for all distribution channels and brands. In the Solutions Marketing Division, he oversees the marketing of Ricoh’s Document and Printing Solutions.

Elected vice chairman of the CompTIA board of directors was William Owens, vice president, service and support, Lenovo Group, Research Triangle Park, N.C.. His responsibilities include aftermarket services, warranty operations, technical support services, and customer satisfaction for all Lenovo and legacy IBM PC products.

Brian D. Wiser, senior vice president of sales for Ingram Micro North America, Santa Ana, Calif.. was elected CompTIA board secretary. At Ingram Micro, Wiser is responsible for all sales functions in Canada and the U.S. including direct marketer, consumer/retail and corporate accounts, in addition to government and education and value-added reseller sales.

Mark D. Romanowski, executive vice president, ASI System Integration, New York, N.Y., will serve as board treasurer in 2006-07. Romanowski has vast and diversified experience in IT services and extensive expertise in business development, sales and services delivery.
